How long before I receive my certificate?

Certification times explained.

If you are registered on a QLS or TQUK course, certification time can take anything from 4-12 weeks to arrive once your last assignment has been marked and passed*

Once your final assignment has been passed, your portfolio will then go through the internal moderation process prior to your qualification being issued by the awarding body. Note: We do not issue certificates, the awarding body does!

Moderation is a compulsory process, where your assignments and your tutors marking are internally checked to ensure that all is in order before your certificate is claimed. If anything is missing then you may be requested to revisit some of your work. It is very unlikely for this to happen but on occasion it does unfortunately.

Your portfolio can also be selected at random by the awarding body for moderation, again to ensure all is in order before they issue certification. This is all standard practice and part of the qualify control process. Your patience is appreciated during this process.

Certificates are issued in digital format as standard. Once your certificate is available, we will email you to inform you and at that point you are able to request a hard copy if required for a small fee.

* If you are registered for one of our short CPD/E-Learning courses, then the moderation process does not apply. Certification will be downloadable instantly upon completion. Unfortunately, certificates for our short courses are not available in hard copy. However, you are able to print at home as needed.
